Born in Seville (1995) and currently based in Barcelona. I am a Postdoctoral Canon Foundation Research Fellow, lecturer, and translator focusing on early Japanese socialism, literature, gender, and disability.
I hold a Ph.D., completed under the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya Doctoral School Grant in the Humanities and Communication Programme, during which I carried out a doctoral research stay at Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo.
I hold a B.A. in East Asian Studies (Universidad de Sevilla), completing University of Tokyo’s “Global Studies in Asia” programme through a scholarship for my undergraduate degree. I also hold a M.A. in Japanese Language, Literature and Culture (Universidad de Granada) and a M.A. in Specialized Translation: Literary and Humanistic (Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción, Sevilla).
As a translator I have worked in the field of literature and videogames. I am a co-translator of Japanese proletarian author Kobayashi Takiji’s Vida de un militante y otros relatos proletarios (2022) and Kanikōsen y otros relatos proletarios (2025)for Editorial Satori. I have worked for videogame companies such as Square Enix and Thirdverse.
